Classroom Expectations

Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that will not cause a problem for anyone around them.  Students will use a weekly card that will document their behavior.  The card will be sent home in the Take Home Tuesday Folder each week so that parents can review and sign it.Below are the expectations.

  • Bus
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    • Keep area clean.
    • Level 2
    • Remain in seat facing forward.
  • Cafeteria
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    • Keep area clean.
    • Level 0 from door to door.
    • Level 2
    • Remain seated until dismissed.
  • Restroom
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    • Keep area clean.
    • Level 0
  • Recess
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    • Use equipment appropriately.
    • No foul language.
    • Level 4
  • Halls
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    • Level 0.
    • Walk.
    • One foot on the blue, green, or red.
  • Classroom
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    • Keep area clean.
    • Appropriate voice level for classroom activity.
  • Assembly
    • Watch for signs for voice levels.
    • Respectful of those presenting assembly.

  • I show ownership by concentrating on my educational, physical, mental and social well-being. 

A – Appearance

    • I am responsible for keeping the school and buses neat and clean.
  • Cafeteria
    • I am responsible for using good manners in the cafeteria.
    • I am responsible for keeping the school and buses neat and clean.
  • Restroom
    • I am responsible for keeping the school neat and clean.
  • Recess
    • I am responsible for following teacher directions and instructions.
    • I am responsible for playing appropriately during recess.
  • Halls
    • I am responsible for remaining at Level 0 when traveling throughout the building.
  • Classroom
    • I am responsible for being prepared with learning materials (home work, pencils, paper….)
    • I am responsible for getting my THT folder signed and returned on Wednesday.
    • I am responsible for showing positive behavior.
    • I am responsible for knowing, understanding, and following school and classroom rules.
    • I am responsible for keeping the school and buses neat and clean.
    • I am responsible for being on time.
    • I am responsible for having my planner with me at all times.
    • I am responsible for doing my own homework and getting it turned in on time.
    • I am responsible for taking care of school materials and the teacher’s materials.
    • I am responsible for using the Internet and computers appropriately.
    • I am responsible for following teacher directions and instructions.
    • I am responsible for all my learning.
