Who is Mrs. Giaccone?
Greetings! My name is Stacy Giacccone. I have been teaching for 11 yrs. in the Kannapolis City School System. I began teaching 3rd grade at Shady Brook Elm. and then switched to 5th grade in 2005 when the Intermediate School began. I have been married to my husband, John, for 6 yrs. We have a daughter, Gianna, that is 3 yrs. old. I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, and spending my free time with my family and friends. I'm a technology diva and am always looking for the latest and greatest new gadget. I hope to use what I learn in my classroom to prepare my students for the 21st century and jobs that haven't even been invented yet.
I am originally from Ohio where my parents still live. I have a younger sister, Jennifer, who lives in California and works as a SLP (speech language pathologist). I attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo where I graduated in 2000 with a batchelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on social sciences and math. I enjoy watching college football and professional football. GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!! GO BROWNS!!!!!! I recently began bowling with my family this past summer and hope to continue.
