Parent Expectations
Parents and teachers must work together for the advancement of the students. Below are a few expectations.
- Read with your child every day.
- Check all work in your child's Take Home Tuesday Folder (THTF)! Keep the items on the "Keep at Home" side at home. Return all work on the "Return to School" side.
- Contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns. Email me or call me at 704-932-4161
- Check your child's planner daily. The planner is where homework is listed and up-coming events are listed. I will also write notes in student planners for parents to see.
- Check this website as often as possible. It is updated daily.
- Make sure your child is dressed professionally (in complete uniform) daily. BELTS INCLUDED!
- Work with your child on his/her homework, assignments, and projects.
FYI:
1.) Wednesdays are difficult days to get in touch with me as it is our day designated as staff development, staff meetings, and other meetings.
2.) The best days to set up a meeting with me are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesdays are secure for staff meetings and on Fridays I have family obligations to attend to.
3.) My planning time varies each day so please check our class schedule. I can best return telephone calls when I do not have students .
